Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been since we first began. Our club is a place where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving our communities, and the world.

To empower Lions club members, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and understanding.

Our very own Past District Governor Mike Frye was celebrated tonight with a Finis Davis Fellowship for Humanitarian service!
The Finis E. Davis Fellowship was created to honor the memory of Kentucky’s first and only President of Lions Clubs International. PIP Finis served as President in 1960-1961. Then in 1967-68 he was President of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. He spearheaded the drive to raise the first two million dollars to build the Kentucky Lions Eye Research Institute, which is now a world-class center, and dedicated his life to Lionism.

June 5, 1938 ~ July 23, 2026
We are deeply saddened to share that our community has lost a good friend and a great man. Lion Leon Remington was the longest serving member of the Mt Washinton Lions Club and was a pillar of our community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
