Welcome to the
Mount Washington Lions Club
Serving Mount Washington, Kentucky since 1948 with heart, we organize events and support local causes to make a real difference.
We serve
Lions serve. It’s that simple, and it has been since we first began. Our club is a place where individuals join together to give their valuable time and effort to improving our communities, and the world.
Our mission
To empower Lions club members, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and understanding.
Our vision
To be the Mount Washington and Bullitt County leader in community and humanitarian service.
Lions Clubs International is the largest membership-based service organization in the world. Our 1.4 million members in more than 49,000 clubs are serving in 200 countries and geographic areas. Since 1917, Lions have improved health and well-being, strengthened communities and supported those in need, locally and globally. At Lions Clubs International our motto is “We Serve.” Learn more about who we are and what we do at lionsclubs.org.

Our very own Past District Governor Mike Frye was celebrated tonight with a Finis Davis Fellowship for Humanitarian service!
The Finis E. Davis Fellowship was created to honor the memory of Kentucky’s first and only President of Lions Clubs International. PIP Finis served as President in 1960-1961. Then in 1967-68 he was President of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. He spearheaded the drive to raise the first two million dollars to build the Kentucky Lions Eye Research Institute, which is now a world-class center, and dedicated his life to Lionism.
Congratulations and thank you Lion Mike for everything you have done for our community and our District!
We'd like to introduce our newest Lion! Heather Sparkman was inducted into the Mt Washington Lions Club tonight! She has already been volunteering with us for months, and we are so excited to have her! Welcome Lion Heather!!
